We invited Eileen Burbridge and Malin Posern of Passion Capital , the pre-eminent early-stage technology venture fund based in London, for a fireside chat. Learn about Passion Capital being the first European VC to open up its own fundraise to crowd investors via Seedrs. Eileen and Malin will shed light on the inner workings of Passion and what they are currently seeing in the market, as well as touch on their own experiences as female investors in such a male dominated industry.


Eileen Burbidge is a Partner at Passion Capital. She brings extensive operational experience to her investment activities gleaned from business and product roles at Yahoo!, Skype, Apple and elsewhere. On behalf of Passion, Eileen serves as non-executive director on a number of fast growing SMEs including Monzo Bank, Digital Shadows, Marshmallow and Butternut Box among others.

Malin Posern is the newest Partner at Passion Capital, having only joined in August last year. She is a director of Sugar and works closely with Fertifa. She brings extensive and diverse experience from investment, operational and advisory roles across the startup, growth and large business ecosystem. Previously, Malin was the Digital Director for Browns (NYSE: FTCH) where she was responsible for the online P&L and multichannel strategy. Prior to that Malin invested across growth and venture as an Investor at Index Ventures with particular interests in Consumer and SaaS, involved in investments in Just Eat, Etsy, Farfetch, Adyen and Criteo and responsible for activities in the Nordics and DACH. She started her career as a management consultant at Bain & Company in Stockholm.
