Introduction
Kocktail was created to make truly world class cocktails, bottled!

After many years of visiting cities around the world and enjoying some of the best cocktails on the planet, co-founders Emil & Andrew realised you couldn’t get truly spectacular bottled cocktails to enjoy at home... so we decided to shake the market up.
We were lucky to be good friends with Neil Donachie, who had just won “Best
Hotel Bar In The World” as the senior bartender at the Savoy Hotel’s Beaufort Bar. Neil joined the Kocktail team & the three of us then decided to dedicate the next two years of our life to creating… the finest bottled cocktails imaginable!
Monetisation strategy
Own Website - Our own website makes up the majority of online sales. We focus on our “Collection” products, with both subscription and one-off purchases.
Distribution into retail - We mainly work with distributors including: The Cress Co (voted best distributor) and JDs. These are focused on specialist and independent stores. We plan to take on another larger distributor to support with listings in multiples (i.e supermarkets).
Direct to retail - Our main direct account is with John Lewis. With most accounts it's more cost effective to go through a distributor, with a handful of exceptions such as John Lewis.
Online 3rd Party Channels (e.g. Amazon or NOTHS) - Despite competiton we have strong lisings and these channels continue to provide a small but meaniningful revenue stream.
On-Trade - We have a small number of local pubs, bars and venues. However, it doesn't account for a particularly large amount of our revenue at present.
