JAJA and Plum named in Sifted’s top nine fintechs to watch in 2020 

Challenger credit card company, JAJA was named by Sifted as the number 1 fintech to watch in 2020. Savings and investment bot Plum was also named in this list. 

Good-Loop secures $1.6m seed funding to drive social good mission 

Ethical video platform Good-Loop has secured a buy-in to the tune of $1.6m, with significant investment from You & Mr Jones, a brand tech group founded by former Havas chief executive David Jones.

Revolut valued at $5bn ahead of new funding round 

Revolut is reportedly set to be valued at $5bn (£3.85bn) in an upcoming funding round, leadby Investor Technology Crossover Ventures (TCV). 

SpiceBox ahead of the trend for the future of restaurant delivery 

Plant-based Indian takeaway, SpiceBox is now offering takeaways in reusable tiffin boxes. The Walthamstow-based restaurant encourages customers to bring their tiffins each time they order, so they can be refilled. No waste or leaky containers!

Upgrade Pack raises £5m seed round for travel rewards 

Upgrade Pack raised £5m in seed funding after securing fresh investment. After expanding into the Asia Pacific region in August, Upgrade Pack will soon enter the North American market with plans to open an office in Toronto in the first six months of this year.
