With a host of awards to its name, Mr. Lee’s Pure Foods was founded following founder Damien Lee’s battle with cancer. With none of the nasty additives found in incumbent products, Mr Lee’s cups of noodles and congees blend traditional flavours with natural, quality ingredients only.

Growth has been tangible for the startup, despite the challenges of the Covid-19 crisis. In the UK, Mr Lee’s range of healthy quick meals is listed with Asda, the nation’s third largest grocer, and with Holland & Barret, Amazon and Ocado, with further exports to Ireland, France and Australia. Having built manufacturing and commercial hubs in these locations and now the USA, Mr Lee’s intends to scale significantly, with a focus on its US, Australian and European growth.

Just a few days ago, tent innovator serial Seedrs alumni Crua Outdoors closed its latest crowdfunding round, raising just over £800k.

Known for its patented, sound, light and even-blast resistant tent technology, Crua Outdoors has its sights on growth, with an all-new 7,500 square foot premises in Ireland. In 2020, leading up to its latest funding round, the startup boasted 2.5x revenue growth to over $2.5M*, powered by over 20,000 customers in more than 100 countries worldwide. Crua’s website revenues nearly tripled in January of this year, compared to the same period in 2020*.

Crua has created what it believes to be the world’s very first insulated and blast-resistant fabric structure for the exploration and production industry. Its blast-resistant shelters are currently sold and delivered to a key Blue Chip customer in Oil and Gas, with the US being its primary market. The startup is constantly undergoing R&D and product development allowing it to capture new markets, including most recently the ‘glamping’ and rooftop tent segments. With 3 product launches completed in 2020, and 3 more scheduled for this year, 2021 will be a big year for the camping market.

Crua Outdoors is live on the Secondary Market now, at an indicative valuation of £8M. There are limited sharelots available for purchase, starting at £12.74. View shares and updates here.
