Seedrs is crowdfunding, and we’re giving you the opportunity to invest in us.
You will be investing alongside Woodford Investment Management, who has committed an investment of £4 million to the round. This follows on the £6 million investment they made in us in 2015.
The capital we are raising will allow us to deliver our next stage of growth. Seedrs will use the capital to launch new product capabilities that will materially increase liquidity and return potential for investors and businesses; build out increased sales and marketing efforts; launch a select set of strategic partnerships; and massively scale campaign execution through automation, machine learning and AI.
Critical to everyone at Seedrs was ensuring that we could open up a portion for the crowd. We already have nearly 1,000 crowd investors following raises in 2013 and 2015, and we know that many investors were disappointed to miss out on our last round. Although exact amounts are to be confirmed, we will be inviting existing shareholders and customers to invest in this campaign on the Seedrs platform.
