Introduction
Credit scores are used in situations that go beyond loans, and building a good score takes years. Yet even a good score at home won't transfer across borders.
Our mission is to solve the problem of local credit history in a global world while empowering users to build a healthy relationship with credit. How? By monitoring people's interpersonal lending behavior.
Globally, billions of euros are being borrowed outside of official lending platforms, i.e. from person to person. We are tapping into this market by facilitating traditionally interpersonal & therefore non-official lending transactions. We monitor them, save them on the blockchain and use them to build a credit history that can be internationally verified.
With the help of Open Banking APIs, mobile-first Tinder-like design, educational content, and the elements of gamification, we want to encourage reasonable credit behavior in youth.

Monetisation strategy
- Matching fee
Our app covers the entire lending flow for a 2% transaction fee (10 NOK minimum fee for amounts lower than 1,500 NOK): investor-borrower Tinder-like matching, in-app comms, signing of a loan agreement, payback & peer reviews.

- Premium subscriptions

We plan to introduce monthly subscription fees for users. Examples of premium features can be e.g., access to expert educational content, an unlimited number of matching requests, an insurance pool for lenders to cover defaulted loans, badges for late payers and high-performing borrowers, prizes, comprehensive blockchain-backable credit reports with hashes for third-party verifications, and many others.
- B2B product offering / Whitelabeling

Though not yet fully explored, we see great potential in offering Lendwill to closed communities, such as e.g., NGOs, charities & even banks.
