Introduction

We invite you to join us in Padoq, the game-changing mobile app development platform for business and organisations.

Padoq is an innovative tech platform that allows clients of all shapes and sizes to engage, organise and monetise. Extremely customisable, Padoq has the potential to power everything from branded apps designed for the large blue-chip businesses, through to our self-serve platform for communities.

Padoq as B2B commercially targets reduction of costs, complexity and maintenance. As B2C, Padoq for Communities targets the mass market of groups, teams and small enterprises.

Padoq is deeply aligned with both the consumer trend of increasing mobile time spent on apps - now an average of 85% - and also the tech trends of Software as a Service (SaaS) and control over one’s own data and communities.

Padoq is up and running, is driven by a deeply experienced team, and has early sales and growing pipeline. It straddles the premium value Digital and Enterprise Software sectors and our ambitions are for decisive global expansion.

Intended impact

Padoq is a one-stop powerhouse of core digital functionality. It is a disruptive consolidator across apps, media, ecommerce, engagement, payments and communications. Highly functional, bespoked apps are rapidly pulled together for any client use case, all at compelling prices.

The Padoq platform is a continually upgrading central software chassis, focusing on functionality and user experience. It delivers an ever-expanding feature menu. We consult with clients to create the exact digital support mix that matches their needs and ambitions. Functionality now includes:

- Payment collection and product sales.
- Privatised discussion forums for members and stakeholders.
- GDPR compliant data collection – Padoq admins/app owners are the data controllers.
- Event management.
- Photo, file and video sharing.
- Issue reporting/asset tracking.
- Voting/reviews.
- Surveys/information collection.
- Direct chat.
- Calendar management/booking system.
- Advertising.
- Deep integration with clients’ existing software/systems.
- Unlimited possibilities on workflow and UX.

Substantial accomplishments to date

Strong founding & management team: strong mix of enterprise software, digital tech, digital transformation, business and finance skills. Numerous tech exits and successful deliverables.

Active support of highly accomplished investor (and adviser) network:prominent entrepreneurs introducing high end corporate business opportunities, marketing networks, celebrity contacts, and media openings.

Accreditations:now listed on G-Cloud public sector procurement framework, opening up government markets. At final stages of FCA open banking regulation.

Cyber Essentials approved; also continually pen tested on security. Hosted in UK in wholly owned, ISO-certified data complex.

Awards: Padoq & founders have won Venturefest in the NW and membership of the Maserati 100 through the Sunday Times.

Revenue & pipeline: Since launching the enterprise app platform in April, we are in dialogue & pilots with governing bodies, national publishers and world leading football clubs. To date, we’ve had significant contracts confirmed.

Monetisation strategy

Padoq - Branded Mobile Apps.

Our license model for evergreen apps replaces existing marketplace options: the major commitment to a one-off app, or the expense and headache of an in-house build team. Users can integrate Padoq app functionality around all of their organisational needs, from specific marketing campaigns, through to everyday management tasks. A Padoq app allows businesses to do more of what they do best without getting sucked into expensive and complex tech issues.

Just as the platform is flexible, so is the pricing model, with two basic options (plus highly customised special projects). The first is an all-inclusive monthly license for full commercial monetisation. Or there is a reduced license level leveraged through an advertising revenue split with Padoq.

Padoq for communities.

You can download this for free from the App Store & Play Store. It is for organisers, clubs and communities. The constant innovation of B2B delivery covers the costs for this still high performance, mass market offering. It is free to use and we plan to monetise through add-on premium features and interest-based advertising. We are very proud of Padoq for Communities. It also serves as a great advert of our capabilities and as a gateway to more paid-for usage.

Use of proceeds

The immediate mission following this round is building out the sales channels for selling high end B2B apps. This will include lead generation, pipeline conversion, on-boarding and account management.

As well as sales efforts, the investment will be used for two high-end tech additions for extra revenue generation (the core platform is fully market-ready):

By end of Q4 2019, we are targeting the release of a self-serve advertising platform, allowing businesses and communities to benefit from controlled advert inclusion.

Deeper API integration: we are already experiencing client demand for plugging Padoq deeply into their existing systems.

* We invite the Seedrs community to join us on this incredibly exciting journey *.

Please note, the valuation above is based on fully-diluted capital, including a 20% option pool made up of growth shares that the company has the ability to issue over the next 5 years. In the event of an exit, proceeds will first be distributed pro rata to the ordinary shareholders up to a total amount of £3,500,000, before the remaining proceeds are distributed amongst all shareholders (including holders of G Shares).

Investing in a regular equity campaign is the simplest and most common way to invest in a startup. You decide which business you want to invest in, and if the campaign hits its funding target then you will become one of their shareholders. As the company becomes more valuable, so do your shares; allowing you the opportunity to share in the future success of the business.
