Introduction

Globally, trillions of dollars are invested in private equity and hedge funds. A large % of this capital is invested into the 20 largest managers: Blackrock, Vanguard Group etc. We believe this industry is antiquated with virtually no digital innovation. We believe that most decisions are made entirely by investment professionals using an inefficient and emotionally biased process of telephone calls and face-to-face meetings. Brand and nepotism dominate, and there is almost no accountability.

Enter Reveal Insight

We have built a B2B marketplace online which allows investment professionals to identify, research & allocate to investment managers. Our platform uses investor community qualitative ratings, matchmaking algorithms & digital due diligence to permit faster and safer investment decisions. Like AirBnB, which helps travellers travel to smaller boutique hotels and B&Bs, instead of expensive branded hotels, Reveal Insight allows investors to invest in smaller managers, who we believe have lower fees and better performance.

Monetisation strategy

Like Amazon, AirBnB and Uber we will earn money for each successful deal that occurs on our platform. An additional bonus for our business model is that each deal will pay us to perpetuity as long as the investment remains vested. We believe this will help us increase our revenue.

We also generate revenue from our optional premium and profile completion services which allow managers to pay us to proactively promote them or create their profiles for them.

There is no subscription fee to join or use the platform so there are no barriers to entry and our marketplace can grow rapidly.

Equity Offered

The equity offered is the percentage of the company’s shares being issued in return for the amount of investment raised.

When the amount raised is less than 100%, the equity offered is based on the target raise. Once the company has raised over 100% it is based on the total raised.

In some scenarios, entrepreneurs may accept additional direct investment after closing their Seedrs campaign. Provided this is within 6 months of the closing and on the same terms, we do not typically offer pre-emption rights on that extra investment (where you have the opportunity to invest again to maintain your percentage shareholding).

This shows if you are able to choose, when making an investment, that you be represented by, and your shareholding be managed by, the Seedrs nominee.

Custodian

If you invest in this Campaign, Seedrs will act as Custodian rather than provide our standard nominee service. This is due to the fact that the business is not directly involved in the share sale and Seedrs will not benefit from any rights under a shareholder agreement.
