Substantial accomplishments to date
Roam was developed by a founding team with nearly 20 years of health & beauty experience from L’Oreal and Harry's. They have built a core team of 6 industry experts and award-winning graduates.
Since inception they have successfully raised over £2m of funding from some of the UK’s leading VCs including the investors of Zoopla, Deliveroo, Charlotte Tilbury & Lick.
Roam launched in October ‘21 and has successfully grown revenue at +28% per month*. 34% of revenue has come from subscription and the remaining 66% from one-time-purchase customers.
Product innovation and sustainability is central to the strategy. The range includes skincare-inspired, 100% natural lubes made with never-before-seen formulas. World leading condoms, made from vegan Fair Rubber latex with 38% less plastic packaging and innovative toys made with medical grade silicone.
Roam has been featured over 70 times in some of the world's most premium titles including Women’s Health, GQ, Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan, Red & Refinery 29.

Use of proceeds
Your investment will be used to make the world a more sex positive place.
Capital will be invested in working capital (20%) and growth (80%) including:
- Customer acquisition & retention initiatives
- Expansion into new channels including Amazon and national retail
- Brand marketing including product innovation
- Development of team to support expansion plans
The company has two outstanding Director’s loans totalling £50,000, at zero interest with no repayment plans currently in place.
The funds raised from this investment round will not be used to repay these loans.
The Company owns the US federal trademark for the mark ‘ROAM’ for categories directly related to the business (ie sexual wellness).
The Company currently has pending US federal trademark applications for the mark ‘ROAM’ for use within the following indirect categories: Class 4 (candles etc) and Class 3 (skin moisturizers, body creams etc). A US company, Roam Homegrown, challenged the Company’s pending registration within these classes but has agreed to enter into a co-existence agreement with the Company. The parties are currently negotiating the terms of the agreement.
The Company's Strategic Project Manager has recently resigned. The Company will be recruiting to fill this position over the coming months, ensuring continuity of responsibilities.
