Tanya's Just Real
I'm Tanya, this is my story.
I had a successful corporate career, but this placed immense pressures on my family life. These struggles as a working mum combined with my childhood phantom, an eating disorder and triggered by my family breakdown with the end of family dinners, and even further fuelled by ultra-processed foods, gave birth to my idea.
I have created a new range of fresh, healthy, convenient food made of just real ingredients.
We all want to cook from scratch, but let's get real. We’re time-pressured and we lack inspiration.
So I put fresh herbs, fruit & vegetables into a bottle to make sensational sauces, dressings & dips.
A proposition like no other; our products - a real source of nature, can be used ALL WAYS:
• Cold to dip, spread, dress or drizzle
• Hot to coat & cook or pan fry to sizzle
Our products are cold pressed to retain the flavour and health benefits of fresh ingredients. They are gluten & dairy-free, no added salt or sugar, absolutely no artificials at all and as such they are all naturally Vegan.
Simply just real, raw goodness in a bottle.
I created my JUST REAL proposition to give home cooks and chefs a versatile fresh product and a simple way to make tasty, quick, healthy meals. We are offering a quick fix to cooking from scratch without compromise.
It was never about making another sauce…
It is about introducing a Just Real Solution.
Our proposition has been created to meet the changing consumer needs for convenient, less processed, fresh, natural foods, with JUST REAL ingredients.
Our research shows there is a definitive consumer need for our proposition that is currently lacking in retail and food service.

The following milestones are our goals for the future:
Spring 2020 - We want to relaunch in retail; 6 tried & tested products - 3 sauces & 3 dressings
Spring 2020 - Launch multipack of sauces in wholesale
Spring 2020 - Launch brand into food service & as an ingredient for manufacturers
Summer 2020 - Extend the brand in retail; UK & Europe. Launch bespoke recipes in food service UK & Europe
Autumn 2020 - Launch dips in retail, i.e. child friendly pack lunch dip pots
Winter 2021 - New product innovation - keeping this bit secret! :)
Spring 2022 - Potential launch own label with retailers
2023-2025 Continue the Just Real Revolution, Globally
Our commercial strategy will support a personal and heart felt campaign dedicated to building awareness & improving mental health.
Use of proceeds
My purpose has fuelled my drive to fully realise the potential of my proposition ready to revolutionise meal preparation in domestic & commercial kitchens.
In 2018, as the sole employee and with no marketing budget, I landed 4 listings in retail. This was a great achievement, but not sustainable and could not fully deliver the true opportunity of the proposition.
I pressed PAUSE.
I focused on building an experienced team and delivering committed partnerships to take the business to the next level.
The proceeds of this raise will contribute to:
• Employ a small, highly capable and experienced team.
• Working capital to support the relaunch of the brand in retail and food service, new packaging, website.
• Implement our robust PR, Marketing, and Retail Activation Plan focussed on brand building, awareness, sampling and education.
• New Product Development and innovation - new ranges, packaging formats.
• Launch and support mental health CSR campaign.
Related Party Transactions
The company is currently negotiating legal agreements with two Dutch companies for the provision of certain services including:
(1) From one company: the provision of high-pressure processing services, technical support, logistics and delivery of products, new product development and support for European expansion; and
(2) From a second company: the manufacture of products and support for European expansion.
As part of this arrangement, both Dutch companies will become shareholders of the company, and the CEO of PP will be appointed an executive director of the company, by the end of this investment round.
The company has the following outstanding loans:
£39,500 loan from an existing shareholder that accrues no interest. The loan is to be repaid once the company is profitable.
The funds raised from this investment round will not be used to repay these loans.
