Travark is one of the first to market with its social travel platform.
Have you ever had to try and book or have you ever been a part of a group holiday? If you have, you will know exactly how difficult and stressful it can be. There are usually considerable difficulties with getting people to agree on dates, hotels, getting deposits paid and making sure everyone does what they need to do in order to travel.
With these complications, it is no surprise that Travark has been four years in development.
In 2014, the online travel industry was estimated to be worth $590 billion globally. We consider the industry to be technically backwards, outdated and fragmented and we estimate the three major players own approximately 30% of the space and the rest split between smaller travel firms.
We believe that there is a big opportunity to transform the way people book holidays by bringing together the best of Expedia, TripAdvisor and Facebook into one combined platform.
