How it works
The Seedrs Secondary Market is the place for investors to buy and sell shares from each other.
During the beta phase of the Seedrs Secondary Market shares will trade at "fair value".
The market will be open for one week, starting on the first Tuesday of every month at 11:00am and ending in the next Tuesday at 11:00am. While the market is open investors can buy or request to sell shares.
After the market is closed, shareholders will execute the trades from the previous cycle. Seedrs will take care of all of the post-execution paperwork and prepare the Share Lots for the next trading cycle.
Buy shares in a business without having to wait for new funding rounds
First come, first served and no buying fee
Pay immediately via a bank card or funds available in your investment account
You will receive the transfer agreement that must be signed by you and the seller
After paperwork is signed, the shares will belong to you and we'll record the transfer in your portfolio
Investors now have the opportunity to turn their investments into returns without waiting for the business to be acquired, or floated on the stockmarket
You can request up to a maximum of 10 Share Lots to be sold, each with a maximum value of £1000
If eligible, the Share Lot will appear in the next trading cycle
If your Share Lot is purchased, you'll sign the transfer agreement and the funds will be deposited straight into your investment account, less our nominee admin fee

Investing carries risks, including loss of capital and illiquidity. Please read our Risk Warning before investing.
Investing involves risks, including loss of capital, illiquidity, lack of dividends and dilution, and should be done only as part of a diversified portfolio. Please read the Risk Warnings before investing. Investments should only be made by investors who understand these risks. Note that not all shares will be eligible for the secondary market and, even if they are, the ability to buy and sell shares will depend on demand. It can be difficult to find a buyer or seller, and investors should not assume that an early exit will be available just because a secondary market exists. Tax treatment depends on individual circumstances and is subject to change in future.
